Looking for some help... Need some games for an 8 year old. Animated violence is ok I guess. See anything on this list you've played with a kid full me in thanks

Moving Out is a lot of fun. I think it is worth $12.50. You are crazy moving company characters. Writing is better than expected and a lot of accessibility options.

If you own the base game of Mortal Kombat 11, you can buy the Ultimate Add-On Bundle for only $15. That's a pretty good deal, since that DLC is rarely on sale. When on the Mortal Kombat game in the eShop, scroll to the bottom to see add ons for the game.

Can't recommended Risk of Rain 2 enough. Probably my most played game of the generation.

Probably any game besides Mortal Kombat. Lego City Undercover is $6 and worth it. It has 2 player co-op, and is an open-world GTA-ish game that's fun and funny for kids. Also Unravel 2 is a good 2 player game, I finished it with my 6/7 year old on Xbox (it's on Xbox Game Pass with EA Play).

I have Hyrule Warriors on Wii U but after playing Age of Calamity I really cannot get myself to rebuy Hyrule Warriors DE for $42+taxes.

Age of Calamity not only improved greatly in gameplay but also includes full Japanese and English voiceovers and over 2 hours of cutscenes.

Is good. I mean, the game will stutter eventually due to the nature of it, but that'll happen on any system. I have it for PC as well and the further in you get, the more resource demanding it can get. Just how it's designed.

Not on this list but pretty cheap, Boomerang Fu. It's super fun and I play with my kids all the time. Plays up to 6 people I believe.
