Really good smart robot vacuum (I have had mine for close to an year now). Unless one would need the Camera for Object AI detection of S6 MaxV, I would probably rate this the best one in Roborock Series for cleaning abilities, barring the new S7 (which is close to $200 more).
My only complaint is the side brush that came with the S4 was all silicone and it would get caught up in carpet fibers. I emailed CS and they sent me a replacement side brush that has regular nylon (or whatever kind of plastic) bristles on the end and that one works fine. So if the S5 Max also comes with the silicone side brush, plan on replacing that if you have high pile carpet.
