I think they are referring to the point that Amazon piles all products(same sku or id) irrespective of the source in the warehouse. If some old stock, a knock-off of sorts ends up in that warehouse pile you may end up with that knock-off irrespective of who the seller is. Walmart on the other hand get the product directly from the manufacturer. This issue has been discussed in the past. Some sellers do not use Amazon warehouses just for this reason.

Above understanding is just my opinion and I have noticed that especially with grocery items.

for 1.... the people you responded to were not being aggressive, they were only posing a question. no need to get all "what the heck" attitude on people.

for 2. your anecdotal experience means little against the facts of the situation. google: "amazon commingled inventory". walmart and the grocery store buy their products through legitimate channels and can be traced directly back to the source. because amazon has 3rd party sellers, and they mix inventory, that supply chain integrity is out the door..

basically, you, as a 3rd party seller, can buy a bunch of widgets, and have them shipped to amazons warehouse.. you can then sell them on amazon for whatever price you want. amazon puts your pile of widgets in with their pile of widgets, and then when someone buys a widget. they pull it off of the same pile, whether it was bought through amazon, or some 3rd party seller. so if i, the 3rd party seller, buy, either knowingly or unknowingly, counterfeit widgets, there is an equal chance of you ending up with a counterfeit widget whether you buy through amazon, or 3rd party.

In my personal experience these or even the other lower level ones, are much better than the kirkland tabs.
Thanks for the info. I'll try these. Funny enough we used to exclusively use finish tabs (the basic ones) and switched to the Kirkland ones bc of good reviews but seems like these finish tabs have surpassed the Kirkland. Thanks

Good deal - 94-Ct Finish Powerball Dishwasher Detergent Tablets - @ 9.71 cents per tablet

Costco - 125ct - $12.99 after coupon (when available) = 10.39 cents per tablet
BJs - 117ct - $12.99 after coupon (when available) = 11.10 cents per tablet

And don't forget to watch this video. It certainly opened my eyes to how washing machines work.

TL;DW - Prewash & Hot water

Edit-> I realized that the ones at BJs and Costco is the "Max-in-One Advanced Dishwasher Detergent Powerball" and I am not quite sure how it measures up to the ones in this deal.
I will definitely try out to add prewash detergent. Thanks for posting the video!

I'm guessing that part of the problem is changing formulations. In the 2019 CR review, the Sam's Club ones were top rated but then as someone noted earlier in this thread their quality has gone down recently. Then you have to add in water quality variations (our area has very hard water) & of course people using different dishwashers.

Personally we've had good luck w/ the Kirkland ones, better than the basic all-in-one/powerball but not quite as good as quantum (when we tried those years ago). Price of the quantum made us try the Kirkland & have stayed w/ that lately. Should note we use a rinse aid, which does help it seems like w/ hard water. Still, I do the vinegar cleaning every 6 months or so - not because the glassware isn't clean but more for the eventual buildup on the stainless panels inside the dishwasher.

When I ordered it was giving the 25% off and another $10 for multiple orders. It was a very good deal at that price.

The Quantum is supposed to be one of the best dishwasher detergents out there. I just read a review where they tested a bunch and this one was of the the top three (cascade platinum plus and Method were the other two). I've been going thru the powerball ones and they clean the dishes well without spots but don't do as good of a job on the baby ware. Excited to try this! Thanks OP! Plus, able to unlock 15% s&s savings so it came out to $23.83 for 2!

Bought some of these through Amazon a couple months back. Didn't know that they called one of cleaning elements Powerball. Most tablets were missing it and did poor job. Powerball lottery odds are 1 in 38 about same odds of getting one that wasn't a manufacturing reject.

The powerball 94 pack has done a great job for me. Was skeptical at first but ended up being good. Today's price at Sams was 14.99, Amazon has for 8.82. Definitely a good deal. In for one
