Good deal for 300 bucks. I know some people who could use those for a WFH computer.

Anyone know if you can upgrade the power supply and add in a discrete graphics card?

I think he meant HDD as the primary drive. Most people who buy a desktop like to swap parts and have a lot of parts lying around. I have a couple CPU and a bunch of NVME SSDs just lying around, my GPU is not even plugged in to save power since I haven't been doing any intensive gaming lately. definitely not ewaste. I really don't need the newest GPU, none of the games i play is GPU intensive, and i could potentially make a second PC to donate to my dad or make a penny arcade machine for the break room at work

Bought the HP i3 version of this two years ago at a cheaper price. Fresh Windows install to remove bloatware, and it's still running like a champ. Wife recently started using it for WFH. Good find OP

It's $429 instead of $299. Is there a promo?
Some B&M stores have it for the $299 price but it depends on where you are geographically

That's a generous interpretation. If he is going to rag on someone for their outdated choices, he should probably get his terminology correct.
