Maybe people downvoted because this is out of stock for 2-4 weeks at amazon? Regular price is $59.99 and this deal matches previous upvoted front page deals from the past few months. While this does not beat the $40 black friday price from last year it seems to be good for right now.

Relevant bit of info for anyone who cares about Xbox controllers: MS just announced a new one that will feature rubberized handles (I think the Elite controllers had this):

Not a tremendous change, but a nice new feature we'll see on these controllers going forward. Of course the one for this deal does not have these.
