Someone explain to me how this is better than the LG C1 48 at 1300 Best Buy?

It's not. I don't understand the point of this product either. It's actually worse than the C1 (same screen size and refresh rate - probably same panel, FreeSync instead of GSync, worse warranty, no TV tuner, etc.)

Both Newegg and Gigabyte have terrible customer service with a history of screwing customers. Buying something large and expensive from them is risky because if you have issues you're probably in for a world of headache.

I own this and picked it over the lg based on I/O, great for viewing content and gaming. 144hz on my 3080 and hdr just looks amazing. Plus has a hdmi 2.1 and a DisplayPort. If you don't care about that just get the LG. I'm impressed with this screen. I play simulation games and light fps. No issues with either.

"..Really the only reason to buy this is if you already don't have a CX/C1 or just want the convenience/feature set of a monitor vs TV. I know it sounds trivial but I'm super over turning my CX on and off as necessary + all the TV garbage...."

Can they make this, but half the size, and half the price?

It's even money it falls off his desk or he throws a keyboard through the screen first.
