i honestly don't get the 61 key layout. with no dedicated arrow key, control key and function key, are you guying using VI or emacs exclusively or what?

For keyboards like this it's all about the small form factor. The arrow keys are there, you can just use the ctrl/alt key on the other side of the keyboard and use the modifiers for everything else (numbers versus function keys). Can slip this into a jacket pocket if needed, game with it, minimize desk space. Takes getting used to, for sure, but it ain't the smallest or weirdest keyboard you can get. By FAR.

Looks like the "SK61" line [epomaker.com] is the same layout as this board with hot-swappable switches. Doesn't look like that one is on sale though.

Edit: the hot-swappable SK61 uses Gateron optical switches, which as far as I know, aren't compatible with other manufacturers so I believe you would be limited to Gateron's optical offerings.

I completely agree. $24 for a 60% keyboard in those colorways seems like a steal but I'm a working gal and I feel like not having the F and delete keys would get in the way more than anything. This is why I prefer the TKL layout.

This looks like the keyboards I saw at a warehouse today have a pallet full of keyboards like these obviously returned. Mostly missing keys. It was an absurd amount, missing one or two keys no boxes.
