RAM is 3200mhz per Lenovo and verified by my own check on the computer in front of me, not 2666mhz. 4GB of ram is soldered, and 8GB is a removeable sodimm. I don't know that anybody has posted actually replacing the 8gb chip with a 16gb or 32gb, but the CPU supports up to 2x 32gb so it should be good to go. You'll only get partial dual channel though, 2x4gb regardless of the size of the second chip you put in there.

I did some research before buying this one and it does run on the hot side. However, that is only under duress. Ie gaming,rendering, etc. it's a little slower than a i7 10700. I also benchmarked the onboard and it sits somewhere between a 960m and 1060m.
