I went thru a margarita/daiquiri phase in my younger years. Even threw a couple of parties. I used a good $25 blender and made frozen drinks for everyone for hours. still use that bender 25 years later. What makes this $150 blender so special.
This thing is a pain to return, sometimes they even sacrifice a chicken to see if its returnable.
This thing shaves ice. It doesn't blend. Big difference

It's battery powered so no need for cords. You just pour the ingredients to their lines, fill the ice compartment and press a button. I was skeptical at first too but I used my friends for a party and it's by far the easiest way to make batches upon batches of frozen margaritas.
Battery powered? I have one and it's definitely not battery powered.

It is awesome though for frozen drinks. We make slushies for the kids in it too. After a good rinse 😉.

This is a good deal. It works way better than our vita mix for its intended use just understand that's what it is for. Frozen slushee drinks. Nothing else.

As a south park fanatic, I feel like this was underappreciated so I wanted to draw more attention to it

Especially, if one bought it on a payment plan.

I will start by saying I had one of these and no complaints. Needed to get another one and decided to give a 1400 watt Ninja blender a try and have to say I a more then impressed. I honestly think they do about the same in terms of final product, but the Ninja blender is by far easier and the best well thought out blender I have ever tried.

I was wanting to upgrade to this from my ninja. Being vetoed by my wife, but also noticed mine is only 400W, you must have a higher end model

This is more like an automatic drink maker. The ninja is just a straight up blender, right?

So are you saying that if you have Ninja, Bledtec, Vitamix then you don't need this for what it does?

I have a Blendtec and if you like frozen slushie drinks this does a significantly better job. The Blendtec is a great blender, but shaved ice is a whole different thing. Now whether it's worth the cost and space for the improvement is another question entirely.

Do you have to make a whole pitcher with this model? Doesnt appear to allow you to select the number of drinks like the key west model.

You really have no idea. I was you. Now I'm better.
Truly shaved ice, no blender can replicate and if you want to be lazy, it can take the guesswork out of ratios of different liquids.

Your pocketknife will cut your steak just fine but wouldn't you rather use a steak knife?
