I bought this about two months ago to control some outdoor lighting around my pool fence. So far it's been great, I can turn them on and off via the app and also have a timer setup to turn them on and off. In ready the reviews before I bought I was worried as some said it stopped working after it rained. I have not had this issue and it's plugged in uncovered. Great little investment, highly recommend.

The newer version is $1 more. I've been using it for 1-2 weeks. We've had heavy rain and no issues. I did wrap the open outlet with electrical tape just to be safe, but that was probably unnecessary

Really wish they had put a right angle plugs on this. That would have allowed it to be secure inside the outdoor cases.
