you can get any of the bands they offer on the watches' product page for free, you just need to apply the particular coupon code that applies to each band. If you just leave the default selected band (the sport ridge, for the watch4 non-classic), when you go to checkout, you'll see it listed at $0 due to a coupon that's automatically applied; if you pick any other band, it will be listed as a separate item at a cost.
The coupon that applies to the 'defaut band' is "ET", so if you want a different band, find the product number, "pre order it", and then create the coupon via the above method.

for example, say you wanted the "Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic Sport Band, S/M, Black" https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile...r86sbeguj/

The product/item/etc number (whatever it's called) for that particular band is sfr86sbeguj (you can find that in the URL or in the description just below the name on it's product page). Click preorder to add it to your cart, then capitalize all letters of the product id and prepend "ET" to the front, and add that as a coupon. For the above band, the coupon would be "ETSFR86SBEGUJ". Note you'll need to remove the band that you chose with the watch if applicable (only one band coupon appears to apply at once), and the coupon doesn't work if you just try to order a band by itself (I tried)

Ordered 44mm today on Samsung and trade in my active 2 (150 trade in). With EPP came out to 120 after tax with a sport band, plus a 50 dollar credit voucher.

Wish the announcement had been clear on when Google assistant was coming and whether it'll sync with Google fit directly. Also how they came up with the 40 hour battery life (always on display?)

FYI I'm able to trade-in my old FitBit Versa1 for $100 credit, in addition to $50 pre-order credit on Samsung.com since I want the 40mm watch

Thanks for posting. Good price.

Is this the Active version? Are they coming out with the Watch version that has the rotating dial?
The Classic has a rotating bezel.

My concern is actually battery life. Has anyone seen reports?

Shows as $251.99 for 44MM version for me. [imgur.com]

I recently bought a new house so i qualified for the "movers coupon". That promo is the gift that keeps on giving. Every order i have made with BB has gotten me 10% off for the past 3 months lol.

Must have Samsung phone to use ECG and BP, plus looks like it's missing Fall Detection. Quite disappointed...
It has fall detection and snore detection.

No code, its part of a USPS program for new home owners. You are enrolled in a bunch of discount programs and Best Buy, Costco, Amazon and some other ones are part of it.

How did you manage that? I'm seeing the $150 for the active 2 trade, but the 40 mm watch is $99 and apparently you have to buy a band separately for $40. So it's $140 for the 40mm and $168 for the 44mm. Even with EPP I'm seeing a pretty small discount that wouldn't get the watch, band, and credit down to $120 for the 44mm.

edit: I see the 40 mm is just over $120 with a band on EPP. I guess if you're including the 12% cash back and not counting tax, maybe that's how you're figuring about $120 for the 44mm...
Maybe I got lucky? I chose the green 44mm watch 4, white sport band and 12 percent off plus tax came to 116.53 (NY tax). With EPP of like 8 bucks or something.

Good for you, I'll see if I can replicate. These Samsung deals all seem so odd with different prices depending on a bunch of things.

This is what I'm trying to do. Does the new 4 come in stainless steel with cellular like my active2? I funny have v the v big internet right now so I haven't been able to look at anything announced.

I'm not sure describing Samsung's promotions with a human emotion is accurate or helpful. I think it's great we can get brand new stuff for less than retail. Wouldn't it be nice if a certain fruit company offered promotions on new gadgets?
They should price it at a price the market will bear, instead of playing games with discounts and coupons. They should stop inflating the MSRP like those "as seen on TV" products and just straight up give us a realistic price.

Isn't it annoying that we have to wait for another round of discounts and coupons to buy?
