FYI, these 3 models are all brand new inventory that had to be opened to convert to US powercord. These were originally built for EU market, but are being sold in US. (Great deal on a good monitor that is actually new) - Unlike the last open box sale, these 3 are actually just converted stock and not returns of any sort.
Could someone with more monitor knowledge explain the differences between the (2) 27" 4K ones listed here? Is the sRGB just more color accurate? Is there something else I'm missing / would lose out on if I go for the cheaper of the two. I would be using it as a secondary monitor not my main
That is entirely up to you, but you are getting this information from the Business Unit Manager @ Monoprice for gaming and display.
Our system has a standard lock for open box units regardless of how they were processed. We priced them appropriately due to the limited warranty we have to offer.

How do you say so?
Can anyone chime in on who the manufacturer is on the displays and whether their monitors have split view software? Thank you
question:
If I can get a "Dell 27 Monitor - S2721DS" brand new for the same price as the "Monoprice Vivid Monitor - 27 inch, 4K UHD"
For home office use in dual monitors.
Which one would you choose?

Thanks for the response for Macbook Air M connectivity. This will be for academic purposes, website and typing in Word, Googledocs etc,. With the mentioned adapters, can you keep Macbook Air's screen shut and just use the monitor with a wireless keyboard and mouse? And maybe even charge it during the use? I guess, what I'm trying to figure out is if it is fully Macbook Air M compatible as some other monitors advertise them as such.
I just need a 4k monitor for emails, MS office, spreadsheets, etc.
No gaming and no photo editing at all.
Are the specs on the 32" Monoprice Ultra Slim 3840x2160 4K 60Hz IPS Slim Monitor ideal for these types of tasks, or too much?

I bought it specifically for photo editing. It might be too much for your tasks. But for $200, I would rather jump on it in case in the future you might do some editing.

It should work fine. I have a $80 monitor and a random cheap adaptor off of Amazon and I'm able to do it just fine.
That's why I did not pull the trigger. I have been using 27 inch for couple of years now and not again!. 32 inch or above is must for me for a desktop monitor.
Yes. When 27 when 32 is so much better, everything equal of course.

Looks like these all have HDMI 2.0? (not sure about vivid -- it doesn't say). Edit: Not sure if HDMI 2.0 is going to be a problem vs HDMI 2.1. Maybe differences in HDR support?
