No event is fired in the app. And nothing is visible on the API (I'm using homeassistant).
The end result is that these are unusable for anything that can't be randomly power cycled. No TVs, no computers that don't use a battery, etc. I had mine connected to an always-on fan in my bedroom. It started clicking the relay at ~2am waking up my wife and I at least once every night.
I couldn't wrap my head around loading beta firmware and the other model that I have that suffers the same problem (HS110).
I couldn't use these for anything I wasn't okay with randomly losing power. I switched to another brand and have no had issues.
Debating getting another for my power surge that has my pc stuff connected to it.

I've got a two pack of the non monitoring ones I haven't opened but the energy monitoring is neat. I could see how a person could use it to save some money pretty easily
