FYI: 4+2 phase VRM, it should be good enough for non-OC usage on all processor available on AM4 socket.

No real advantage to overclocking 3rd/5th gen Ryzen anyway.

Edit: I would only trust this board for 65W TDP Ryzen parts. It can run a 3900x, 5800x, 5900x etc.. but it gets a bit toasty thermal wise.

Honestly with PBO 2.0 no one really is old school OCing anyways. But I just don't know how you refurb a MOBO especially it seems it's not done by MSI officially.

Likely just working returns(if they was even tested). Doubt anything is getting repaired/refurbished. I think companies just use that term for anything that's been opened and used when they resell.

I just need a cheap motherboard with USB flashback to use Ryzen 5 5600G. This one looks fine to me.

The big issue is you can't count on what BIOS is in the thing. It needs an upgrade (available) to run zen3 chips (ryzen 3000), but I heard (back before they were released) that this may conflict with earlier chips.

I've worked at a shop that sold "refurbished goods" that were basically repaired, cleaned, and had minimal testing (enough for rare warranty repairs). We had no access to schematics or anything you need for real work, so expect the repairs to be swapping out used parts from scavenged units.
