Wonder if this is any better than my phones speaker for a bike ride...

Edit: I bought one but not sure why. I guess I just don't like lugging a large speaker on bike rides but phone doesn't always cut it. This says 5 hr battery life at 50% volume so it's probably more like 3 or 4. Not great. Will have to charge often but worth a shot.

It is 5.4" X 5.8" X 2.9" thick, so it would definitely rock the ant farman, I say go for it, they'll love it! 🐜

How can we be expected to hear sound from this... if airpods can't even fit inside?

Tempting. It's larger than the JBL Go 2. Decent size. USB type C.

This NewEgg spec is wrong. From the LG website, the speaker is 5.4" x 2.9" x 1.5"

.

Its still a bit bigger than the JBL Go 2. These microspeakers are pretty popular, compare to Omthing, Tribit Stormbox Micro, and the Bose Soundlink Micro. They will get a lot louder with more bass than your phone's speaker. All the good ones have a 1-1.5" active driver and a passive bass radiator with digital equalization so it does not sound quite so small. This LG seems to have those things. All of the others are more money, so looks like a good price. Not to fill a room, but perhaps to sound better than your FireTablet when watching videos.

People crackin on it's size but remember that Amazon Echos are just as small and still produce a good amount of bass and noise. Not that i'm holding this device to the same standard, anyway.

I used to have a tiny no name speaker like this. It was great for traveling.
