American is one of the worst airlines to fly with right now. Be cautious as the cancel flights with no notice because they still don't have the crew needed to fly all their scheduled flights.

Too bad there's no cruises from San Juan during September/October. EDIT: Also, you can guarantee that whatever flight you book and pay for on American will not be the flight you take. They re-schedule flights almost as a matter of policy.

This Sanjuanero got to live thru the recent heat dome in while in Seattle. I personally had never experienced summer so hard. 🤣

In recent years? That is just the media. I lived in PR for 30 years. Every year there was a hurricane scare more than once. The media just plays with politics in recent years.

Fair enough, and I agree (though Maria was a pretty messed up situation with the electrical grid and contractor corruption), with the increasing volume of storms in the current cycle, and the rapid intensification trend meteorologists are blaming on a warmer Caribbean, means there will inevitably be even more in coming years.
