YMMV - I have Kindle Unlimited and I clicked on the main page and saw a $69.99 discount off a new Kindle Paperwhite. I also happen to be a Chase Amazon cardholder, so the deal appears to be when you select "monthly payments". Went all the way to checkout and remembered an email with the code NEWKINDLE50 I got at the end of July which expires at midnight on AUGUST 15. So, I applied the code and the Kindle is now $10 plus any taxes. Good luck doing this on your end. This would be the absolute lowest I've ever seen a brand new retail Kindle go for.
Hint: Search for "Kindle Unlimited" in the Amazon search bar and select "Kindle Unlimited" at the top. That is where I saw the offer after clicking that link to the main Kindle Unlimted homepage.

I'll have to stick with the used-acceptable paperwhite that I purchased for $9.65 with that coupon. I'll probably be trading it in for the next generation paperwhite that should drop near black Friday.
I thought I saw the other deal was less off and didn't note the $50 extra credit to get it down to $10. There are alot of folks that downvotwd all the Kindle posts.Strange crowd on Slickdeals these days.
I did 2 things. It's a YMMV just because you have to have 3 conditions to get to $10. Many people have the Chase Amazon card, are subscribed to Kindle Unlimited and had an old 3g Kindle. I didn't do any trade in like previous posts or use some gift card.

The reality is that every actual deal on SD is YMMV, If people can replicate the deal there happy, if they can't, or won't, then to them it's not a deal.
