Reviews are generally positive [soundguys.com]. It seems the indicator lights on each bud flash constantly...but the newest firmware allows you to switch that off.

Several reviews mention the seven contact sockets in each bud triggering those with trypophobia

Dude, ignore all that TU or TD. It is placed there just to cause "this" what you felt. People doing all that don't know what they r doing or how it would impact people on the other side. You express yourself and move on, don't wait to see how the world validates you. #peace

Do they support aptx? I need that for use with Windows 10 otherwise it will be a lagfest if using it with video.

*update* no support for aptx. AAC and SBC only. Disappointing for earbuds having a retail price of $170 (though they sell for $70 new on Amazon). Pass.

Great deal. From the sound guys review, looks like the anc is comparable to the WF-1000XM3. Sony's passive isolation looks better but I guess you can solve that with better foam tips. Picked up a pair to try.

People seem to like them but a lot of reports of one or both earbuds failing within a few months.

TU and Repped... these are quite well reviewed. Not the best, but at $40 shipped, brand new, with ANC on par with Sony XM3's and updated firmware from Panasonic, definitely a great deal.

As an FYI, I did jump in on this deal, but a caveat... they come with 1 yr warranties, but Panasonic warranty service has a history of horribly poor customer service.

Lame but I don't think Sony or Airpod pro's support it either, so maybe just didn't see the need but maybe that could have been a differentiator.

Sony supports LDAC, and many of Sony's headphones support aptx. I don't compare anything against airpods because that is an insular ecosystem.
