Unless you need it now or by itself this deal isn't great. I got it last year at HD Black Friday for $15+tax with a bunch of bits.

And the vast majority of them thought, that for some insane reason, that they could slam lag's or put a ¾" auger through a series of trusses. Lol. This is not meant for those types of things. It's for screws, maybe some mild drilling, at best.

Now I will say that this isn't the greatest tool in history. You don't want to get it wet (I learned that the hard way) and if you are using a phillips head and it cams out while a person is trying to slam it, their gonna have an issue (and yes, for some reason, people still use phillips in 2021 ... even worse some still use slotted, and they can burn in heyalll! Lol)

Those reviews reviews become comical, like a red green episode, when you hear what they are using them for.

Personally, this tool should be for putting in a standard ¼" hex bit (2 inch or longer though, 1's are too short) and driving screws. I'd say you might even use it to possibly drill a few holes (¼" dia or under)... but using the wrong tool for the job will often turn out being a bad situation. Some of those reviewers got really lucky.

I constantly see people using a tool in a way that makes me think "I hope they don't have children", and sometimes, "He is trying to never have children ⚾️🕹⚾️ = 🪅 lol.

So please... use this the way it's intended.

Yeah... the Dewalt bits are 💩 though. Better than Ryobi, sure, but they're crazy soft.

I prefer Vessel (the Japanese version, not the Vessel-USA that's "made in Japan".) But for box store brands, I liked the Makita gold, but they pulled most of those. So Milwaukee probably has the best of the box store brands. Wera, and Wiha really charge too much.

The perfect bit will exist one day... the Universe might be in its cold death stage, but it will happen...

Do you have a link or more info regarding the Vessel tool you mentioned, I'm interested.
