I still don't get how Doordash is a popular thing. I used it once cause I had a $20 gift card, and after tip and stacking fees, still spent more than if I had driven there myself.

Folks go grab your own food, they inflate menu prices you are really paying 30%-40% overhead compared to if you just call the restaurant and pick up your own order ...

Cost you pay for convenience. Some don't have cars, or parking widely available within large inner cities.

If I use DoorDash gift card to pay the entire DoorDash order, will I still take the advantage of the DashPass perks such has lower service fee/0 delivery fee coming from Chase Credit Card?

Depends. I feel like the restaurants just hiked the price on their menu. Because if someone will pay that price online then why not charge them the same in store.
