The real deal was posted a couple of months ago, when most stores had this marked down to $269.

Yeah, 1 store about an hour away had 2 in stock... i kind of regret not making the drive. I have a dewalt slider where the extension arms go out the back which means I have to keep the saw far off the wall... and I can't really make a custom box for it to capture all the saw dust.

No issues with the dewalt saw just my shop is small and it takes up more space than this would. =(

Awesome saw. I bought this a couple years when it was on sale for $299. Definitely worth it at this price if you can't wait. $269 is phenomenal, but who knows if it will ever get that low again.

I picked this up at a Lowe's in New Orleans for $269 back in June. Saved me from buying a Harbor Freight cheapie. I guess some stores were putting it on clearance because it was $100 more at $369 at the 2 stores that were closest to me at the time. Great saw. Did all the trim work in my living and dining rooms.

That's why I got this one! Limited space in my garage shop and building a narrower miter station will help a ton.

that saw had various of problems. I returned it and get the 12 inch sliding miter saw currently at $449. Lucky enough metabo gave me free replacement on the 12 inch version. i did spend some time here and there with customer service at lowes but overall its pretty easy transaction. Spending $150 for a $400 miter saw should be worthy. Also thinking about getting a better one on thanksgiving if C12RSH2M sucks as well

Mine has no major problem. I have used it in a couple small project already. The only issue is the laser guide alignment. It is a steal at $150.

mine's 45 degree and 90 degree detents are always 1 degree off. the blade has been cuting into the left side of clearance plastic because of the detents. Fence guard also not aligned. I went into the store and saw the display having the same problem before i called metabo. Luckily they were very helpful

I just browse through that thread from last year. A few people have the same issue. Mine is within 0.5° off, so it is fine with me. The laser guide after 30min of adjustment is still 0.5mm off.
