It's one thing to be clueless, quite another to broadcast it to the world.

This laundry sanitizer actually works well to get rid of smells associated with bacteria. I've used it for about a year and it makes a noticeable difference in terms of eliminating that sour smell that you sometimes get with clothes that have been worn and washed multiple times.

Ignore the trolls. This is a good product and the price is extremely low.
My husband works in construction. He rotates between 5 orange shirts. His clothes STINK. We tried everything before this, soaking in bleach solution, double (and triple) washing, oxyclean... This is something that we've found that actually works. If you have a problem with getting clothes smelling clean like stinky socks or athletic wear I suggest giving this a try.
For all those comments of doesn't soap work or detergent work... Yes. It does work. But it works as a surfactant, to remove dirt from the fabric, prevent redeposit, and dissolve proteins/grease. If you technically used enough soap, and enough water, and enough cycles, you could possibly rid all the bacteria. However, because cold water washing doesn't destroy the 🦠 they can actually live through the detergent wash because the inside fibers are difficult to clean.

Take a well worn cold water washed t shirt. Spray mist some water and fold it up. Keep it somewhere warm. It will likely develope a funk within 6 hours. Do the same with a new t shirt, and it doesn't happen. That's because your worn t shirt, no matter how you washed in common detergent, can't inactivate enough of the trapped bacteria. If you use a dryer, that helps a lot toward inactivation. So does line drying in full sun.

But does this stuff work? Absolutely. It's usage case is actually quite good for things like sneakers as well- especially if you get them wet and they start to develope that smell. Even after you dry them out, the smell comes back after a few hours of wearing, and stinks up your feet and socks.
Fill a 5 gallon bucket and use a proportionate amount of this sanitizer. After washing sneakers in soap (I used dawn) I soaked it for 30 min in the bucket at the recommended dilution (not a whole lot). Rinsed off and air dried in the sun. Sneaker has been stink free for months.

It's also good for workout gear, moisture wicking fabrics, spandex , etc. Items that you can't use hot water or hot dryer settings.

This one kills germs/viruses in cold water, where usually that part is done by hot water washing.

If a child or animal soils sheets, this is helpful to add to the wash.

Hi hairlessape the point of this is to part a fool from their money. You must understand "sanitizer" is very trendy word so slap that sum bitch in front of anything and it sells out. Soap and water will wash the virus away and down the drain. Many people will comment on how important this brand is and blah, blah, blah. I am looking for investors in my new sanitizing car wash I hope to get up and running this month. I 100% guarantee if you lick your car after using my sanitizing car wash you won't get covid and die from licking the car or your money after you die.

Works for our athletic stuff .. better than detergent (Tide Pods) alone. But just got S&S delivery of this early this month.

Just got Persil, gonna give that a shot to see if it can handle things like gi's.

Directions for use is you have to soak the clothes with this in the rinse cycle for 16 minutes in cold water for it to be sanitized correctly.
