all resistivity heaters have almost the same efficiency, which is nearly 100%.

I have an AM05 and AM09. Both Dyson refurbs from ebay. I have had the AM05 for nearly 10 years and the AM09 for about 4 or 5 years. Love both. I have had to open both to clean the internals with an air compressor and both are still running strong. They're not as complicated as they look and you can find guides online for disassembly. I waited 6 years before cleaning the AM05 for the first time and it smelled like burning dust every time I turned it on until I finally took it apart and cleaned the lower and upper sections. If yours stops blowing hot or is blowing slow, it will most likely be dust build up and a good cleaning will bring it back to working like new.

We just got 2 Dyson TP02 refurb fans from Newegg. They were both like new. Getting this for our sun porch. If it's as good as the other fans we'll be pleased..

Same. I purchased the Iron HP01 color scheme on 8/20 and also haven't seen a shipping notification. I've bought a number of Dyson refurbs over the past year through both the eBay and WalMart channels that both point into Dyson's own refurb operation. They've been good to work with in the past and I'm happy to be patient. I'll post back here as I get a shipment notification. The estimate date in my order was 8/26.

So got email from Walmart said it was delayed or possibly cancelled. I contacted Dyson 2 days ago asking an estimate ship date they just replied that they were doing all they can to fullfil the order. A bit confusing, aren't they selling what they have in stock? Or they just selling a predicted return inventory?

I got the same"order delayed" email from Walmart but also got a confirmation from Dyson right after with a tracking number. Definitely later than the original ship date but looks like it still shipped. Hopefully that's the case with others here.

I got an email this morning from Dyson with tracking, it also show up from my UPS, so let's see what kind of condition I am going to get.

Wish I would've read all comments. My thoughts exactly on this fan. Inferior to a $20 Ridgid 18V/120V hybrid on LOW. Cute remote and aesthetics, but functionally limited to say the least. They must've been drunk on vacuum money when they designed this.

I ordered this with Dyson on the linked item on August 23, 2021. They are being impossible and keep giving me different stories on the status of the shipment. It's been pending UPS acceptance since August 30.

Is anyone else having issues with their fan shipping or Dyson just giving a different story every time you contact them for a shipping update?
