For travelers, one thing to consider is "weak" overused outlets that don't hold the prongs tightly. This is 9.5 ounces. I have an Anker two port which is 5.3 ounces that pulls out of some places. It's frustrating to wake up in the morning and find out that an hour after going to bed the blocks weight pulled out of the outlet just enough to not make contact or charge anything. For these types of scenarios I got one with a short cable, but even a little 1 foot angled extension cord would go a long way. Probably not an issue you'd have in newer building/home. Seems like a great unit, especially for the price, haven't seen anything come close to that.

Man, monoprice has been having a lot of sales lately.
Looks like just what I need. Been looking to set up a charing station in the kitchen for all our tablets and phones.
Have always been happy with Monoprice's items- but never tried a charger, have always gone with Anker, but their comparable mutli-chargers are $50-$100.
Willing to give this a go.

Though note to those with M1 macs, a reviewer stated it did not work on a MacBook Pro M1.

Would this work well to charge a 2018 MacBook pro 15"?
I think the four ports is a bit extreme, really only need two ports. Any suggestions? It'll be thrown in my backpack to lug around school for my masters program and only need to charge my MacBook and my phone (galaxy s10+). I saw the other one posted with one port but I'm in a goldilocks paradox here, really looking for two ports in a charger with enough output to charge both devices fairly quickly and preferably a somewhat compact unit, though that's not a priority.

Looks pretty nice.
The 2 usb-c ports gets 100w if only 1 port is used, and 65w/18w if both ports are used, which is still good enough for many laptops.
The 2 usb-a ports share 17w.

I wish they had a design with the wall plug coming out the side and not the back, so it doesn't stick out so far from the wall. Will probably pick this up anyway, though.

Person above stated it doesn't have pps, which is what Samsung uses for fast charging.

But then again I'm not sure if that's specific to certain Samsung devices or all of them?

Thank you, I didn't know what pps is. Any suggestions then for a 2 port fast charger for Samsung phone (with pps I guess) and MacBook pro 15" 2018 model with touch bar?

I've been looking to get a Hyperjuice and this seems to be a good alternative. Lets see how the quality holds up. In for two!

Not sure if my suggestion would be considered sacrilegious due to safety concerns but.. Maybe just bend the prongs so it fits a bit snuggly-er into the outlet?

fwiw i plan to use this as a travel charger, and pack a short 1' extension cable to avoid the problems described.

Thanks for pointing this out. I thought this is exactly what I needed but I guess not quite yet. Looking for a single brick for a Dell laptop, Samsung S21, iPad, wireless charging pad. Limiting the second USB to 18w wouldn't give the S21 full charge speed.. hopefully by year end a charger will exist at this price point. I think for a brick this big I'd want a short cord too though.
