Don't forget to check your local electric/gas utilities for qualifying rebates.

Depending on where you live this Walmart deal will come out to be cheaper. For example in Bay Area the utility company will cover $120 in rebates making this effectively $60 plus tax and you don't have to go through the anxiety of dealing with someone on FB marketplace.

My power company offers zero device discounts, but the other one in my town offers this same thermostat for $174, so this is a pretty good deal for those like me.

And also resale...I got a brand new one off FB Marketplace for 75 from someone who got it from their power company but was renting and landlord wouldn't let them install. They're out there for much cheaper.

I saw this 5 days ago, and had Bestbuy pricematch the Copper one. Got it installed two days ago. Worked great.

Google Nest 3rd Generation
Deal is good for the copper version - Normally $249.00 on Sale for $179.31
Good price. I recently bought through my electric company for $149, it would have been better if they offered a post-purchase rebate instead, which would have made it around ~$80 with this deal.

I'm sure some electric company does it this way so double check!

I got mine brand new in the box from marketplace and I think it was sitting so long it doesn't connect to wifi.

Got a notification that it was delayed. No idea if a red flag or not.
