For what it's worth.. these are made to be placed on the wall and DO NOT come with a stand.

Returned one to best buy. They had A B C G and F(?) models. I assumed the G would be better than the CX as it was a higher letter. 😂. Good news is they marked it down a grand and it's still sitting there. Tempted to buy it back and order a generic stand.
The jump in price from 65 inch to 77 inch feels crushing lol.

There are some solid generic stands on ebay and amazon. my friend with an older OLED by mistake misplaced his original stand and replaced with a generic, just need to make sure it fits (can return if bought on amazon if it doesnt). I am looking to get this one for flush mounting to wall. I like the way it looks but the problem with that: (a) if there is a gap between the bottom and the medica console any Philips Hue Play ambient light will look odd because it doesnt cover the bottom and (b) might need to cut through dry wall to hide HDMI cables/power cable or stare at those as they would stick out

LG sells their own stand for this. It's feet though, and not the center stand like you see on their other OLED's. It's $100. And unless this deal doesn't include them, Buydig usually throws the feet in for free. I'd be going back and rebuying it!

I don't care about gaming at all, so deciding between this, the CX, C1 and the A80J, with a preference for the Sony due to processing and audio codec advantages. Has anyone done side by side comparisons with the G1 vs the others to see if the HDR boost is compelling?

lol

Question. What test are you using? Is there like a link to get all those tools, videos, pics for testing?

I think you have mentioned earlier some Real Life OLED Burn-In Test, but I can't seem to find the actual steps/manual.

I bought a G1. It has a 300x300 VESA mount point. It includes in the box a custom flush wall mount kit (gallery series). If you want flexibility, I recommend ordering something from Amazon ahead of time. I got a vesa mount with an extension arm for my room.
