for 1... this is a decent deal. not an uncommon price, but still decent.
these are mono. sound is ok, but decent amounts of background noise. ok if you are using them occasionally at the range, or while doing home improvement stuff.
for around 10 bucks more, the howard leight impact sports give you similar quality, plus stereo sound. massive upgrade if you are using them a lot. still the background noise is taxing, and the directional sound is decent, but not great...
for around double the price, there are various versions of the walker quads that give you very good directional sound, higher quality sound, and less background noise. a worthwhile upgrade over the howard leights... but still a decent amount of white noise.
my next purchase will be some $120 peltors... word on the street is they cut the white noise drastically. which is what im really looking forward to. i do a lot of hunting, and while the quads are great for saving my hearing while retaining directional sound... ill spend a $120 if they cut down the white noise.
moral of the story, is that, depending on your goal... this deal, while good... will still not get you what you want. just consider the above notes, and consider if you might need to spend more money...
I bought the Howard Leight impact sports instead. Work great on the range

i am 100% sure of this and i own a pair myself. its common knowledge in the hunting/gun community that these are mono. you have to go to the quad muffs from walker in order to get stereo sound.
