I did do some modifications to it. Instead of using the individual water catcher trays, I put a plastic water catcher that comes with typical plastic drying rack that can run off into the sink underneath this rack.
I also zip tied some utensil cups to the side of this drying rack so it drips water into the sink.

Not yet, I've had it for over a year.
It's cheap chinese crap like almost everything on amz but surprisingly sturdy and looks good enough. I've been putting big plates at the top no issues.
