I just ordered last week and it came in for the same price(refurbished). It looks good, is pretty quiet compared to other fans, don't get me wrong you still hear it when it's on full speed but substantially less than a lasko on full. Has a much smaller footprint than a pedestal fan and great to have remote and heater too. Best part for me with little fu#@|rs running around is that they don't care about putting their fingers into anything as opposed to me yelling all the time to not put fingers (and other things) in the fan. And you know what, it looks good. It's nice to look at things that look cool. I would'nt pay full price. I'm happy with it and If 160 is acceptable to you, you will be happy too.

When it says "cool" does it just blow air or does it some how chill the air lol? If its just blowing air and acting like a space heater seems like a waste of money lol... But do you.

Cool function just blows air unfortunately, it's no effective to cool a room than your basic Lasko fan ..got one of these when they were 140 at Newegg refurb...came in good condition and the heating function seems to work well but haven't had the chance to try it in cold weather yet.
How do these compare with radiator heaters? Do these heat up the room faster? And are quieter?

tl;dw no not really, since all electric heaters are going to put out the same ~1500 watts of heat, and I don't think anything with a fan would be quieter than an oil-filled one
Mixed reviews about the refurbished item. Worth the chance?
Never had issues with Dyson refubs (had 3 stick vacuums). Got this and arrived yesterday, has a small scrath at the top where the remote docks, rest is perfect
Anyone have one? Works that much better than portable heaters/fans?
