Nice deal! I got two of these for the same price I paid for one of my APC P11VNT3 Surge Protectors.

Looks like a good deal with the specs included but it's got those dreaded green lights that will light up your room. -maybe some electrical tape to cover up some light... oh and btw, it's $14.40 on Amazon.

I bought a white one. My total $18.43. The comments are so helpful here. I don't come here often but when I do I usually feel like I find a good deal. Thanks for all your input.

Ordered one, just because; didn't need it since I just got a lesser rated CyberPower for my sister (who decided she didn't need it). Not sure about the shiny finish though, also kinda like the 'heft' of my other CPs. But, hey, a deal's a deal.

In for two and some new cables - I've always had good luck with Monoprice branded products; they're like the Kirkland of electronics accessories. Thanks OP!

I'm in for two. I've been a huge fan of Monoprice since 2007, back when it was the only place to buy reasonably prices HDMI cables... *shakes moderately sized fist at Monster cables
Thank you community for the deal

Weird, it showed 3-6 day shipping as $8.99, but then 1-2 day shipping was free

Definitely gotta tape over that light. I had one in my room that had a red light. Could not make it one night without taping that SOB up

Do surge protectors degrade over time? I've had an APC surge protector that's been going strong for about 10 years. Considering getting one of these Monoprice ones to keep as a backup, or replacement if necessary.

Use black Post-It notes (or cheap alternate, but still works). Cut to size. Mind blown https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies2/grin.gif. https://www.amazon.com/Post-Stick...3XX7X&th=1 [amazon.com]
If you're even a little bit adventurous, you can likley unscrew the bottom, locate the LED's and either snip them or just bend them back and forth until they come off. Then replace the bottom, and the pesky greens are gone. I've done this with several gizmos (usu wireless chargers) and it never seems to impact performance.

Yes, though quantifying that can be difficult to impossible. A rare few surge protectors do have an indicator to identify any fault in the surge protection circuit. Some even stop providing power if they sense a failure in the surge protection.

Good luck!
