Just commenting on the fact that I love this product. I have 2 golden retrievers and this makes bathing them SOOOOOO much easier than anything else that I have tried. Granted, in the summer when it's really hot it's not horrible for me to use the hose and cold water but when spring and even in winter if they get muddy.. this is a game changer for me.
Depends on the size of your dog. If it's a small dog, then stick with the detachable shower head. If you have a larger breed then this wand will work great. The curve shape will allow you to cover more body space and thus, faster wash. It probably save a good 30% of rinse time, but it doesn't clean any better.

The hose is long enough that I can attach it to my water heater release valve, and bathe my dog outside with warm water.

Btw, for CA folks or anyone, you can buy the 1.8G and remove the rinkydink flow valve in the hose connector to make it 2.5G. It takes like a min to take out. There's no difference between 1.8 and 2.5 besides the flow valve. The reason you want to do that is sediment or rock pebbles tends to clog the valve.

I bought this sprayer on Amazon back in 2020 for $18. It's not the best thing since slice bread, but it's functional and convenient. There are plenty of YouTube videos that shows how this sprayer works, so you can makeup your own mind.
I always ask myself why i dont go on slickdeals much anymore, then im reminded its because of the shills.. And idiots like you who cant take a hint and want to be obnoxious about it.
Ordered 2, Amazon warehouse to California, i plan on using one outside in lou of my regular garden hose, and if it works the father in law will get the other. Anybody who has washed a dog with a garden hose, regardless of fitting, knows its hard to get all of the soap and sediment out. I use the waterpic flosser, and am very happy with it. Hopefully this does as the comments imply and gets deeper into the fur, to wash out the soap/sediment from underneath... While also speeding up the process due to its high flow rate and large surface area. Thanks OP.

This item cannot be shipped to CO, NY, VT, WA, or CA. Why not shipping to NY, Chewy?

Ordered the 2.5GPM from Amazon with no problem.

Why?.

It made bathing my dog so much faster than with the regular shower head. Used to take forever to get all the shampoo out of his fur, but with the jets on this and how they are arranged on the wand opposed to a round shower head, it works so much faster.

Really? Wouldn't let me order the 2.5 GPM one to CA when I bought it months back. Had to ship it to my mom in MT who we were visiting shortly after and smuggle it back lol

Ive got a small Yorkie. 2.5gph too much for him? Don't want to knock him over like Cosmo Kramer when he bought an illegal elephant showerhead.

But also I'm in CA. I can have it shipped to Las Vegas if needed.

Have this and love it. I wouldn't use the included connector though. Get a metal one.

For the most part it has to do with what shower head you might have already 8 have a fairly wide hose shower head, but even at its strongest widest setting It is only decent as far as my wife is concerned.

So the shape here, with the force of the water seems like it would definitely be an improvement t over tiny shower heads, and a possible improvement over bigger ones with the shape still being ideal.

Yeah the force with the water makes this so much better than any shower head you could get!

I have this and use it to wash my goldendoodle and it is awesome. I will say the curvature of the wand and long elongated pattern seems to help get more coverage and seems to remove the dog shampoo fairly quickly. Granted I dont have any shower with a detachable showerhead and I also didnt want to mismatching (chrome) to my dark bronze showerhead. So i bought this tub adapter (https://www.amazon.com/YOO-MEE-At...071F9JLQ8) and (removed the wand that it came with) and it works really well! So when guests come to use the bathroom, I can quickly remove it and tuck it away!

The link is dead.

Probably because it causes cancer while the 1.8 does not.

Walmart has another product that looks the same but the title is labeled PRO that ships a little faster.

I have a standard round detachable showerhead with a hose only long enough to stay in one small spot. It's fine for us, not so good for washing my dogs as they try to get away. This is a stupid question because it looks like the flow is adjustable, but can you turn it on and off from the wand?

What isn't? I'm surprised they allow anyone to open a water valve without permission.

As a piece of advice, if you install this on a shower head, the plastic diverter is junk, go out and get a metal one for $20 and you'll be happy you did!

I see this same issue with other reviewers. Can you link to what we would need to get exactly? For us not so savvy handy ppl

The photo of the dog is not at all an accurate representation of the look of horror my dog has every time I give him a bath.
