Just commenting on the fact that I love this product. I have 2 golden retrievers and this makes bathing them SOOOOOO much easier than anything else that I have tried. Granted, in the summer when it's really hot it's not horrible for me to use the hose and cold water but when spring and even in winter if they get muddy.. this is a game changer for me.
Depends on the size of your dog. If it's a small dog, then stick with the detachable shower head. If you have a larger breed then this wand will work great. The curve shape will allow you to cover more body space and thus, faster wash. It probably save a good 30% of rinse time, but it doesn't clean any better.

The hose is long enough that I can attach it to my water heater release valve, and bathe my dog outside with warm water.

Btw, for CA folks or anyone, you can buy the 1.8G and remove the rinkydink flow valve in the hose connector to make it 2.5G. It takes like a min to take out. There's no difference between 1.8 and 2.5 besides the flow valve. The reason you want to do that is sediment or rock pebbles tends to clog the valve.

I bought this sprayer on Amazon back in 2020 for $18. It's not the best thing since slice bread, but it's functional and convenient. There are plenty of YouTube videos that shows how this sprayer works, so you can makeup your own mind.
I always ask myself why i dont go on slickdeals much anymore, then im reminded its because of the shills.. And idiots like you who cant take a hint and want to be obnoxious about it.
Ordered 2, Amazon warehouse to California, i plan on using one outside in lou of my regular garden hose, and if it works the father in law will get the other. Anybody who has washed a dog with a garden hose, regardless of fitting, knows its hard to get all of the soap and sediment out. I use the waterpic flosser, and am very happy with it. Hopefully this does as the comments imply and gets deeper into the fur, to wash out the soap/sediment from underneath... While also speeding up the process due to its high flow rate and large surface area. Thanks OP.

If you use the shower often that this is attached too I would be careful, mine did not last a year and completely broke the plastic housing and the showerhead snapped off.

Yes. Per product description:
INDOOR & OUTDOOR USE: Install in your shower and easily switch between your shower head and the Pet Wand Pro; or you can connect to your garden hose with the included outdoor adapter and bathe your pup outside for a convenient and superior clean at home

May I ask why? Not that I'm doubting you, but I'm just not seeing what the advantage would be over a removable shower head on a hose..
I'll add to this that we have detachables in two showers. This has a much longer hose. Our detachables would reach the bottom of the tub fine, but we didn't have any excess length to maneuver around the dogs, especially to get under the belly etc.

We've had one for 3 years now. Still works fine. I have three gripes about it. First, as others have said, the diverter is pretty awful. Ours was salvageable with some plumber's tape, but a solid metal diverter would be much better. The suction cup hook is almost pointless. It won't stick to anything no matter how many times we tried. Also why we kept the plastic diverter, because it had a hook to hang the wand too. And last, our wand leaks a little bit even when rotating the dial to an "off" position. Not a big deal, but it definitely doesn't completely stop the water. Also pretty sure I returned the first one because of this and the second one did the same thing.

As a piece of advice, if you install this on a shower head, the plastic diverter is junk, go out and get a metal one for $20 and you'll be happy you did!
So it's a $43 product then. No sale.

Seems to be then going price now. Recieved and used mine, works very well. Of my 2 dogs (american lab, and american shepherd) it made a huge difference on the shepherd with its long fur. The amount of dirt that came out, was quite amazing. Its a little weird having to use the flex hose attached to my flexible garden hose (seems the sprayer wont directly connect without an extra fitting), but thats more asthetics then anything.
Its less about the amount of water, and more about the pressure created by the tiny openings that your able to use as a "fan" to push the dirt from one side to the other.
Very effective.. But i would love to forgo the hose/fittings and save a few more bucks. The thing is plastic.
