Walmart.com [walmart.com] has the HART 20-Volt RC Truck Kit with 1.5Ah 20-Volt Lithium-Ion Battery and charger for $63.83. Shipping is free.

A single HART 20-Volt Lithium-Ion 1.5Ah Battery (Charger Not Included) is $44.88 so I figured a truck for $33 might count as kinda slick. I picked up two as I bought into Hart already.

Includes: RC Truck, 2.4 GHz remote controller and (2) AAA batteries.

Features:
  • Speeds up to 20 MPH
  • 250-foot control distance
  • 1:10 scale
  • 2.4 GHz remote controller with low & high settings
  • Powered by HART 20V Battery

MSRP $129.00
It's been $99.00 for a while, dropped to $88.00 two days ago, now $77.97, *edit* and now $63.83

That is a really neat idea to use the tool batteries for R/C cars. Haven't been looking, but haven't see that done yet.

Ryobi does one every once in a while. Maybe around the holidays.

both ryobi and hart are made by tti so this is not super surprising, though still nice to see.

Kobalt had the jeep one using the 40v battery. Kobalt also does a scooter occasionally using the 24v batteries

Hah, I thought this was a ride-on at first and then saw the 20MPH. I was thinking my kid was in for a heck of a ride!

I got the Ryobi one. I think my HD only had about 5 or so and sold out pretty quick.

The weight of the battery would tell you this is severely slow R/C. Save up up another $100 and get an entry level hobby grade r/c and leave this at Walmart.

This is not worth the money. Like a prior poster said, get a real RC car. I paid this price recently for an Arrma Granite Voltage. It's lighter, better built, more ground clearance, oil filled shocks (makes a HUGE difference!), easily upgraded, huge part library, moisture proof, etc. And it comes with everything you need to run it out of the box.

This hart RC truck isn't even worth the sale price. Don't be fooled.

Wow, that's a cheap kit! (the Arrma) Is it part compatible with anything? Can I throw a Mabuchi 540 in it? Change wheels? Etc?

I used to have a Tamiya Grasshopper I think. Entry level (late 90s I think) 1/10 and it was a great, stout car I could do some mods to. Got stolen by tweaker thieves but I could see getting another one at this price just to fiddle with.
