If you have a double story home with significant temp. difference between the floor you mostly spend your time and the floor where the thermostat will be, then consider buying a sensor as well.
Update: Last black friday, I got my ecobee smart thermostat with a sensor for $150, from my utility company's store page. Extremely happy with it. I thought I wouldn't use Alexa or smart speaker features, but I do. This version doesn't have those features. Yes, utility companies also do BF
