I got one and it works fine. Not a sine wave output but fine for consumer electronics. Battery replaceable. Not tested AVR but does make an audible buzz when on battery. Alarm can be silenced in software or button (on demand or generally).
One thing to consider is that this has a very low power factor (0.54), which means that you can run a lot of smaller devices for a long time but you cannot really plug in something too high powered like a server or gaming PC or even 2 of the newer gen game systems actually gaming at the same time.
But for this price (especially on sale), that's not bad. Plus I called call Costco and asked about how the warranty is handled it is through Costco so if it blows in less than 3 years, you can exchange it at Costco and don't have to deal with shipping the unit back to CyberPower.

Still weird that a search of the predominant platforms for buying and reviewing don't have a single hit on "CyberPower LE850G review". In any case, given that MSRP is $65, a $60 deal is not too "Slick" (no offense meant OP). The free shipping is a bonus though so credit for that.

In the past, you were able to return anything to Costco no matter how long ago you purchased the item, including big-ticket electronics like TVs, monitors, computers, laptops, etc. However, people abused the hell out of that (for example: they would buy TVs then return them a year or two later and then used that returned money to buy the latest model of that TV), so Costco removed those electronics from their return policy. Presently, you can still return all other Costco purchases at any time, but returns of TVs and some specific electronics types are now limited to 90 days after purchase.
The original post you replied to might've been inadvertently ambiguous about warranty/return policy because of the run-on sentence.

I appreciated the policy the one time I used it in the last 20 years. Bought an office chair where the seat cushion wore out in under a year and they took it assembled and without a box with no questions asked. They possibly might have been told it was garbage ahead of time and just accept returns.

Using two of these for stonks. My cable modem, router, PC, monitors can never be out even if there's a rolling blackout.
A lot of UPS systems out there have at least some reviews of fire, burning up, sparking. It's only few out of the bunch of random units I've looked. I always click on the negative reviews to see if people's complaints about a product add up. One fire review or picture is enough to ruin any good review for me.
