This! I bought it with my C7 a few years ago. Well worth it (haven't needed it). I purchased a PP for a TV back in 2011 and it developed a green line down the middle of the screen. No repair, no replacement (was offered though), just my money back (ended up buying a Sony 3D TV).

I doubt anyone's warranty does (JMO). I don't have an issue with burn-in because I don't pause the TV very long or leave it on the news channels with the 'information boxes' in the same spot all the time. So far, so good.
