As for burn-in, I'm told that burn-in generally happens when someone leaves the exact same channel on for a long period, and the station's watermark or news ticker remains. You don't want burn-in, vary what you watch.
That's always the case, but some people try to shove 80"+ sets in a room that has no business with such a huge TV. I'm about 8-10 feet away from my 65, and while I probably could've gone a little bigger, it feels as though I still have a decent "living" area. While I love the idea of being immersed with viewing goodness, I don't need it to be the main focal point of the room. https://tv-sizes.com/tv-size-calculator/ is a good tool, although I suspect if someone wants a 90" TV in their 15x10 room, they're going to shove it in.
After 15 years in the electronic business that was very informative.
Dude... IF you believe that the ONLY way a TV can incur burn-in is by user error. Well, more power to you.
There are countless stories online of people using their sets for a few months and experiencing burn-in.
Then there's the lucky goofball that had their sets for years on torch mode while playing games 18 hrs per day and the TV was not affected at all.
Don't be a hater.
Hell, on my way to visit my parents, I'd pass this one run down mobile home that had a hummer parked outside all the time. The hummer was nice, and I always wondered if the hummer was more expensive than the house. If so, that's fine, the person that lived there valued having a hummer more than having a nice house. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, if that's how they want to live.
How is delivery from verde-toe? Apparently, FedEx is often used and shipping a tv often have issues and can be a real pain.
