AAFES has the 65" C1 OLED for $1899. As always with these deals, they're for veterans/active duty only. Last deal was with amazon for $2097 that came with the $200 amazon gift card bringing it to $1897 before tax. This deal without tax makes it better.

How much better is the C1 over Cx? Just brightness improvement?

Bought this TV last week for about $100 more, and would buy it again at the same price. The 65" is probably the perfect size for most average living rooms as it doesn't overwhelm the room. There's nothing sadder than walking into someone's living room and seeing proof that they spend way too much time on the sofa.

As for burn-in, I'm told that burn-in generally happens when someone leaves the exact same channel on for a long period, and the station's watermark or news ticker remains. You don't want burn-in, vary what you watch.
Really depends on the size of your room.

That's always the case, but some people try to shove 80"+ sets in a room that has no business with such a huge TV. I'm about 8-10 feet away from my 65, and while I probably could've gone a little bigger, it feels as though I still have a decent "living" area. While I love the idea of being immersed with viewing goodness, I don't need it to be the main focal point of the room. https://tv-sizes.com/tv-size-calculator/ is a good tool, although I suspect if someone wants a 90" TV in their 15x10 room, they're going to shove it in.

Quote from LEOMHK1.0 :
Thanks for letting know...
After 15 years in the electronic business that was very informative.

Dude... IF you believe that the ONLY way a TV can incur burn-in is by user error. Well, more power to you.
There are countless stories online of people using their sets for a few months and experiencing burn-in.
Then there's the lucky goofball that had their sets for years on torch mode while playing games 18 hrs per day and the TV was not affected at all.
The term "Burn in" would indicate that the TV might've been left on the same channel or had the same image pattern for an extended period. Now you're right that maybe some will get burn-in much faster than others, but I can't imagine a set experiencing burn-in out of the box, which is why it sounded more like a dead pixel than actual burn in. That is why I wonder if it's actually burn-in.

Quote from WhynotSave :
Sooo....because YOU think 65" is the perfect TV size, anyone with a larger TV is "sad" and spends too much time on their sofa....gotcha๐Ÿ™„

Don't be a hater.
Umm, I stated that if the room isn't large enough for a large TV then it tells you where their priorities are, which I don't know why that's "being a hater". I'd rather have a large house with a small TV than a small house with a large TV is all I'm saying. If your idea of living comfortably is a TV that's too big for the room it's in, then more power to you, but it still shows that you are buying more TV than you should. And that lets everyone know that you value TV more than your living conditions, and that's all I said.

Hell, on my way to visit my parents, I'd pass this one run down mobile home that had a hummer parked outside all the time. The hummer was nice, and I always wondered if the hummer was more expensive than the house. If so, that's fine, the person that lived there valued having a hummer more than having a nice house. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, if that's how they want to live.

I can get this one about 100 dollars cheaper, but it is still too much for me to spend around 2k for a tv as my current 4k 50inch tv only cost 400. I might go with Hisense U8G๏ผŒbut it still too much like 1.2k, so I will wait till it drop below 900

1949 on Green toe for those that don't have access to this. I think the g1 is like 2249. No tax!

How is delivery from verde-toe? Apparently, FedEx is often used and shipping a tv often have issues and can be a real pain.

Bought a b17 here in 2017. It is now failing with the heat problem that causes a yellow/green color splotch in the middle of the screen. LG won't do anything about it. I'd like to buy a new one but with coverage that will last longer than 3 years.. where do you buy it for a good warranty? This place doesn't offer anything extended.

I never would have thought a year ago that $1900 would have been a good price on a 65" OLED...a year or so ago 1500 or 1600 was a good price...man have times changed, and it happened so quickly. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is more expensive now. My grocery bill is at least $50 higher per week than it was less than a year ago. Gas for my car is over $100 higher per month. I will remember that in 2022 and 2024

I doubt anyone's warranty does (JMO). I don't have an issue with burn-in because I don't pause the TV very long or leave it on the news channels with the 'information boxes' in the same spot all the time. So far, so good.
Best Buy's extended warranty covers burn in

Anyone own both this and an early model have any insights? Major improvement? My B6 has burn-in and I'm on the fence about buying another OLED.
