All sold but I'm really glad I saw this thread anyway.

I have Frontier internet and they brought me one of these when they installed it. I have my mesh router plugged directly into it over ethernet cable.

So since I have one, does it mean that all my coax exits are now hot and I can just plug in more of these MoCA devices and have hot ethernet endpoints?

Are you familiar with power line adapters to run network over the electrical outlets? Same thing but it uses coax tv/Satelliten cable and works 1,000x better than power line. Better than mesh as well. I have a moca bridge in my office connected to a router port and coax. "Extension" units in my LR and MBR. Each extension has wifi and 2 Ethernet ports.

These look like a rebranded GoCoax brand. I've had a few for a year+. No complaints, do what they say. They add slight latency (~3 ms) but otherwise great, and far cheaper than branded.

No idea how it works but Frontier technician installed two. One in garage and one in the living room connected to the route. No idea why he installed on one garage

Yes you do. You need one to "inject" moca into a non moca router

Thanks for confirming that I only need 1 moca adapter in front of the g1100 to "inject" moca and the WCB6200Q wireless network extender has bonded moca 2.0 built in that can "extract" the moca. I ordered 2 (didn't realize the WCB6200Q was bonded moca 2.0 before ordering) but contacted via ebay to cancel 1. They even got a number to call (closed on weekend).

I have 3 of these and they work great. No problems getting 900+ Mbps on them. You will also want a MOCA filter if you are running this on the same coax w/ cable internet service.

You want it at on the point of entry for the cable service coming into your home. I have a 3-way splitter connecting to my cable modem and each of the coax connections where the moca adapters are. So it is hanging on the coax leg that leaves my home.
