one flaked, so i covered the other and now it's off center,
so if you use the chair, expect to dispose it within a year.

The "leather" never especially peeled, but a number of them did fail in other ways landing people on the floor without warning. Arms broke off, seat backs broke entirely free.
And that's all after the padding wore out roughly a year in.
You'd probably be ok with these for a little while on part time use, but full time workstation applications won't last long at all, are ergonomically very sketchy, and end up ultimately unsafe.
