Got one of these in 2017 for $11. idk where it is now, but it was very useful for camping. It's not insulated though so be careful with hot items. meant to be used more as cookware than for super hot drinks.
This is indeed a great little cook set. Works well on a small little alcohol stove or even directly in the coals. The tab on the lid is fairly easy to melt if you're not careful. Keep it vertical during cooking but even then, if your heat is excessive you'll probably melt it a bit. Most people replace it with a paperclip when that happens.

Not good to use plastic parts on a fire unless you really know what you're doing. Too much heat and you'll melt the plastic; too little heat and you won't fully cook your food.
If you buy this, remove the plastic tab. You can read reviews of people burning themselves by touching melted plastic. This item has been around since the dawn of time, though, and there are a ton of videos recommending "hacks" for it, including replacing the plastic tab with a steel key ring or unpainted steel carabiner. Definitely recommend this because that stupid plastic tab is stupid and unsafe.

I think this really does depend on your heat source. I have a tiny alcohol stove that heats water in this fine and could never melt the plastic. But for cooking over a twig stove or placing it directly in coals then you should treat the plastic tab as you treat the metal: it's going to be hot.
We own this and have given them as gifts ($9-$11). It's great for doing coffee in the morning, or beans or something as a side dish (we have a larger camp stove or the fire for main dishes). Although we recently replaced it with the Stanley french press ($17.80 on sale--currently $25), which is similar, and can hold the mugs from this. One of the little folding camp burners fits nicely in either one and helps protect it as well.
