Personally speaking, I bought this and will wait to open in hopes of the Pro (two-player with trackball and pinball controls) going on sale for $99. This is a great consolation prize.

I picked two of these from walmart deal imho its less bulky, one question though would a 128gig usb be enough for these or 256 will be better to install and forget?

For reference, I found an eBay listing with a 128gb stick loaded with 5800+ games loaded on it. Judging from that, 128gb should suffice, but I would defer to people with more CoinOpsX experience to weigh in.

From a previous Coinops X build I had a 64GB flash drive which worked great. The newest Coinops X is slightly larger than this - a 128GB drive is recommended. Bigger will work, but 128GB should be just fine.

I have added an HDMI output from my Arcade1up cabinet (using hdmi splitter), and run the second output to my projector. Considering buying this just to use as a controller to play my A1U unit on the 120" screen. Hmmmmmmm.

Edit: I guess I wouldn't need to use the A1U cabinet I can just install CoinOps on this! Sweet! Gonna give it a shot!

I just tried to play mine that was just delivered, and the lag is horrendous. It's currently unplayable, and I will return it if I can't get it improved. Going to try a different TV and see if that helps.

Also, is there a firmware update?

I've heard random TV's HATE this thing and its making me want to wait for a deal on the entire box.. .

But the idea of being able to just toss this in the car and bring it to a friends house is kind of awesome too!

I've been told your TV HAS to be in game mode for it to not lag.

Can you pair 2 of these to 1 base station and get local 2 player? Or is that only possible with the pro?

I've had the 2 player version for a while now but have had a time trying to get CoinOps to work on it. Not as easy to set up as I was led to believe.
