Chase Freedom also has 5% cb for streaming services...so should work on this as VUDU is included.
Be aware that the selling site is not VUDU itself, it's wgiftcard.com. In Paypal, the seller gets listed as "Vudu Gift Cards" (whereas purchases from VUDU show up as "Vudu LLC") and does not qualify for VUDU specific offers, so it may or may not qualify for "streaming services" offers.
Vudu is no longer owned by Walmart, but now by Fandango, who happens to be owned by NBCUniversal 70% and WarnerMedia 30%(soon the be Discovery Warner Brothers, Inc. 2021).
Emailed Vudu support and they advise against purchasing cards from this unrecognized (by them) reseller of their cards because they report many customers of Vudu have had problems with these cards working properly. Vudu's system even blacklists some cards.

The site that's linked to here is the exact one linked to from VUDU's website, so I don't believe the info you received is accurate.
Last offer was 20% off $50 GC and directly from Vudu. Think I'll wait for another of those deals.
Nope, the last month's offer was only 10%, so this is a little better of a deal. The 20% was in June. This is also directly from vudu and comes from the same exact place the 20% giftcards came from.

Can these be used to pay for disc/mobile to digital purchases?
Yes. Sadly I bought $150 in digital gift cards last month at 10% off (didn't realize they're regularly on sale for less) and immediately used for D2D.
Hard to imagine they won't kill the D2D program in 2022, following the Fandango merger, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I've still got a few hundred titles I'm interested in.

I also just purchased a digital GC, received it about 5 mins later and had no issues redeeming.
