I ordered three of these on the last deal and they have worked flawlessly for me. Cheaper options than gocoax and have had solid stability and speed as if it were just a straight ethernet. There is a bit of latency added (1-3ms) from my testing, but would overall highly recommend for those with existing coax wiring in their house that want wired networking. Only thing I couldn't figure out, was how to access the webpage console like the gocoax does….

Do I need 2 of these? One for the modem and one at the point where the hardware is?

Great, thank you! How does Moca 2.5 compare to 3.0? Has anyone had luck using old DirecTV coax with Moca and does it have to be a home run coax direct from modem to the device port or can it be daisy chained?

Any limit to how many you can use? These would be better than powerline adapters I'm sure..

Yes. Mine connected just fine to an older Verizon supplied moca capable device.

So if I grab four of these, I hook up one at the cable modem, then 3 in different parts of the house, and the 3 devices attached to each node then share up to 2.5gbps connection? No other hardware required except ethernet cables?

Maximum number of MoCA devices in a network is 16. No more than 300ft between adapters.

Do these Frontier branded WF-803s accept the firmware from Gocoax https://www.gocoax.com/support?
