Cheapest MoCa 2.5 adapter by far. Although Frontier branded, works despite your ISP choice.

I bought a pair from this seller before and I had no issues. Buying one more again.

so this is like a firewall security feature?
Yes, filters the MoCA frequencies from leaving your home. Otherwise your neighbor could be on your network if they also got a MoCA adapter w/o filter. These MoCA adapters also allow you to enable encryption for additional security.

I was able to purchase one of these to add to my two existing Motorola 2.0 MOCA adapters (1G network speeds) and it works great. The only minor issue is it did not come with a coax cable, but I had one in my box of spare cables.

Only 1 left now, damn I needed 3. Good deal though, I'm seeing these for closer to $80 each for other brands.

That went fast. Do they usually restock? Been looking for a cheapish one for a while

All sold but I'm really glad I saw this thread anyway.

I have Frontier internet and they brought me one of these when they installed it. I have my mesh router plugged directly into it over ethernet cable.

So since I have one, does it mean that all my coax exits are now hot and I can just plug in more of these MoCA devices and have hot ethernet endpoints?

These will work fine:

Should only need 1 but this 5 pack is cheaper than the singles on Amazon.

Power use is 2.5W per adapter. Using the US avg utility rate of 12 cents kWh it is around $6/yr for a pair of adapters. Probably at least $200 or more to pay someone to run Ethernet through the walls professionally.

I run four moca adapters in my home (zyxel bonded moca 2.0). They do not play nice with my older 1.1 adapters, so I had to top the old ones out (despite what the technical papers say, I CANNOT get the network to work at two speeds at the same time. I've tried everything)

This is the best solution to blanket your house with wifi because of the quick backhaul for the APs. Also good for giving access to a media center.

My rats nest of rg59/rg6 and my 8-way splitter have no impact on throughput at all. Point to point, can easily max out my gigabit fios. Can also send files locally at around 115 MB/s.

Similar to wifi, the throughput is the TOTAL available to all machines, so don't expect to download at gigabit AND send files locally at gigabit as well.

I have 3 of these and they work great. No problems getting 900+ Mbps on them. You will also want a MOCA filter if you are running this on the same coax w/ cable internet service.
I just got 3 of these. I am having issues getting the 3rd one to connect? Any of the two will connect to each other with the moca light turning on. But the third on I turn on doesn't get the moca light to come on. I am running through a directv splitter, which should be ok. Trying to upgrade from my directv deca 3 box network (nothing else on the cables), Am I missing something.

Ok, so it appears that I had them in WAN mode, instead of FULL. Once I switched them all to FULL, then all 3 synced up.
