i guess the guy got these for free so it doesnt matter how much we offer. could have asked for $20
I have Frontier internet and they brought me one of these when they installed it. I have my mesh router plugged directly into it over ethernet cable.
So since I have one, does it mean that all my coax exits are now hot and I can just plug in more of these MoCA devices and have hot ethernet endpoints?
back instock now
see if you guys are lucky. try to ask for like $21 a pop and wait (while waiting for it to be sold out

This is the best solution to blanket your house with wifi because of the quick backhaul for the APs. Also good for giving access to a media center.
My rats nest of rg59/rg6 and my 8-way splitter have no impact on throughput at all. Point to point, can easily max out my gigabit fios. Can also send files locally at around 115 MB/s.
Similar to wifi, the throughput is the TOTAL available to all machines, so don't expect to download at gigabit AND send files locally at gigabit as well.
