I bought this mattress at this price the last time it went on sale. My wife and I are both side sleepers and are plenty satisfied with it, especially for the price. However, I would say it's a medium/firm mattress (though it did get softer and more comfortable about 1-2 weeks after sleeping on it). As for the person who asked how it compares to Casper/Purple, etc. I would say it might be comparable to some of the more budget ship-to-home mattresses, but it's no Purple/Tempur-Pedic... I don't think you can really expect that at this price point.

Depends on your weight. 10inch mattress will be fine for anyone sub 170 lbs. Above that, go for at least 12" while ensuring those extra inches are going to cushioning the top. Side sleepers need that extra plushness on the top.

It doesn't compare at all. If it did, all those others would be put of business. Scoring a quality mattress for less than a small fortune is a once in a lifetime achievement.

how is this a deal when a seemingly identical mattress is $130 less on WayFair (for a King)? https://www.wayfair.com/bed-bath/...d=39134775

And this similar model BeautyRest BR800 $150 less at MattressFirm https://www.mattressfirm.com/beau...lsrc=aw.ds
I weight 200lb. Bought the twin size version from last sale on June 10th. Here are my impressions:

*Firmness is around 5.
*Lack of support in the middle.
*4 sides are surprisingly firm making the middle sunk even more.
*comes in compressed and vacuumed in a box.
*No way to return.

If you find it too soft for your liking, and happen to stuck with this mattress, try flip it upsidedown to sleep on mattress bottom that is firm.
Wayfair deal seems comparable, the other seems like a completely different mattress.

I would say to spring (no pun intended) for at least a 10-12 coil with a 2-4inch high density memory foam topper included (or purchase later) if you're thick like I am. The added 2 inches to round this out into a 10incher wears down and gets too compressed too quickly over time.

Hopefully not a dumb question... will this mattress work with reclining/folding bedframe?
The spec does say the following below, but hoping some one can confirm whether there are any drawbacks with adjustable base use.

Use with Any Base
These mattresses are compatible with platform, box spring, or adjustable bases.
