It's a shame they couldn't design a lid that has both functions built in. Having to keep/store two lids seems like it kinda defeats the purpose of a dual-function appliance, no?

Bought this same model last year for BF at a similar price and I love using it. The air fryer lid is just a heat coil and fan, so it's a 6 quart convection oven that fits on your counter top. Plus it doesn't heat up the house like using the oven at 400+ degrees. Pressure cooker lid is awesome, makes 8 ears of corn in 15-20 minutes from cold start.

It's the same with the ninja foodi that can pressure cook and air fry. It also has 2 separate lids; 1 for each function. I think it's a technological limitation versus a design limitation

I agree with your sentiment, but I think not having two large appliances is the idea here. I for one, have the Ninja Foodi and I love having both options in one. This is a killer deal for someone who wants both things without having to have two large appliances.

Does your instant pot have an Air Fry button/feature?
