I have the OG displays (got a two-pack from my brother in law). It is, IMO, very difficult to configure, especially for elderly people. I couldnt figure out how to put specific people on the "speed-dial" list of friends to call. Many times, the call wouldnt go through at all. Also bear in mind that calls will ring every device attached to a FB acct...so in this case, it would call my in-law's phone, display, laptop, ipad, etc.

The use as a zoom display is very appealing and I plan to use it for that this semester. But for those of us whom want one that will do multiple things besides FBing, I think the google smart displays have a leg up. No YouTube is suicide.

youtube works great. as do any other websites.

Argh..if i had chase 15% which unfortunately I don't and free shipping I would return amazon with 5% rewards & get this. Or else too little difference to go thru with a return. Yea, I later realized on the fb portal tv has Netflix and I think YouTube. At least YouTube works with browser I think. Also not best camera compatibility. But it is a good video call tool & plex.

Holy shit, they did! Applied coupon before hitting submit, and order summary shows full amount!

EDIT: I guess I made adjustment to cart, removes coupon. They fixed it via chat in 60 secs flat

I got it for Webex meetings. There isn't a way to turn off the smart camera, so it's really annoying because the camera keeps zooming in and out all the time as you speak / slightly move. It's very annoying. Not sure if it can be turned off for zoom
