First time snow blower purchase... Is this a legit purchase? I think I'm set on Ego for the rest of my power tools, but this would be my first entry to the system.

Edit: Pre-ordered. Will probably get some snow in the Midwest before November...

There we go. I was confused but yeah, this is accurate. Definitely don't recommend getting the single stage without the steel auger. 2 Stage always had it, thankfully.

This seems like a good improvement over the previous model with the steel auger vs the rubber one which would make the chute clog because she snow and ice were being scooped up instead of chopped by the Auger.

I pulled the trigger on this, first snow blower. After last winter on the east coast I said I will not shovel that amount of snow again. I'm also on the hunt for an extra EGO battery, so to have 2x 5ah included seems like a win win.
